 Field Bets

Field bets are placed on the long sections on each side of the table. This is a one-roll bet, and you will win if your next roll is a 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, or 12. Here you win 1:1 if you get a 3, 4, 9, 10, or 11, and a little more if you get a 2 or 12. You lose if you get 5, 6, 7, or 8.

Bet Big 6/ Big 8

Horn/Horn high

The horn bet is a ”proposition bet” (such as big 6 and big 8) that works like four bets in one, and here you will bet one unit on each number. However, horn high is played more often, with 5 units instead of 4. For example, if you bet 5, one unit will go to 2, 3, 11, and 12, and the fifth unit will be added to any of the above. The payout is 4:1 for 3 or 11 or 7.5:1 for 2 or 12. In this case, you will lose if you hit any other number.

Aces/2 or Boxcars/12

Either of these bets pays 30:1. Aces you win if you roll a 2, and Boxcars if you roll a 12. Any other number means loss.

Any 7

In this case, you win if you get a 7, but you lose with any other number. The payout is normally 7:1.

Other Bets

There is a bet that is not even usually included in the table and that even some casinos have stopped offering it due to its really low house advantage, this is the Odds Bet.

Bets of Odds or Odds Bet

Casino staff does not usually ask you if you want to place an Odds Bet as it is the one that offers you the least profit. An Odds Bet is a side bet that is placed in addition to the simple bet or the well-known Pass Line/Don’t Pass Line bet.

The most beneficial bets for you (Come, Don’t Come, Pass, and Don’t Pass) can be supported by Odds Bets, as long as the casino where they are played accepts them.
